Bird's Foot Trefoil flowers in the Burren between June and September. The Burren Bird's Foot Trefoil is a native Irish species. It's a perennial and grows prostrate up to 40cm. The Bird's Foot Trefoil flowers are 10-15mm in size and mainly yellow. Tinges of orange and red are common. Bird's Foot Trefoil is found generally in grassland, cliffs, shingle, sand-dunes throughout the Burren.
